What are 30's-40's era of songs to play at the retirement center dance? - retirement songs
I am a nurse aid at a local retirement center and it is a dance for the residents. The residents think should be the DJ. I have a bunch of 30-40 music, but I do not know what songs to play. I urge the residents, but are so long for them to have trouble remembering. What are some songs that could be played during the dance?

It was the Big Band era. Songs of Tommy Dorsey or Benny Goodman. Another little man named Glenn Miller.A Duke Ellington. Throw in some Bing Crosby, and you have a dance alive.
